Council Tax bills in Conwy may be on the increase again after a rise of 2.95% was approved by Conwy County Borough Council's Finance Scrutiny committee on Tuesday.
Sam Rowlands, Leader of Conwy County Council, presented detailed budgetary information for 2021/22 and confirmed that the final decision will be now be voted on by the full council in due course.
Last year, Conwy saw an eventual increase of 4.9% after rumours of a hike to as much as 7% made the local headlines.
Any approved increase will come into force from April.
