The Met Office has issued another yellow alert for snow and ice in North Wales from Monday 6th Jan until Tuesday 7th Jan at 10am.

Bitterly cold sleet or snow is expected with the chance of more than 5cm on higher ground.

Wales and North West England will also experience frequent sleet or snow showers into Tuesday morning.

Icy stretches are likely due to continual rainfall across the day and melting snow.
