North Wales is bracing itself for severe weather from this afternoon through to Thursday.
In the latest weather warning from the Met Office, severe thunderstorms could pass through the region resulting in electrical storms, large hailstones and heavy rain.
The warning comes after days of sunny weather and high temperatures across the North Wales coast.
The yellow warning covers the entire country so outbreaks are likely at different times with storms also impacting on the Wirral, Liverpool and parts of Cheshire.
The storm in Colwyn Bay is expected to develop from 8pm on Monday evening into the early hours of Tuesday.
There is the chance that homes and businesses could be flooded quickly with damage caused to property due to heavy rain, lightning strikes and large hail. Power cuts could also occur impacting on local businesses, tourist attractions, homes and caravan parks.
