Do you have a morning or afternoon to spare, looking for something to do that gets you out and about? Become a St David’s Hospice volunteer Driver’s Mate.

You’ll have the chance to meet lots of new people, get out on the open road around North West Wales and support the work of our retail team, who help to raise much need funds for patient end of life care each year.

As a volunteer Driver’s Mate, based at the Mochdre Donation Centre, you don’t need to be able to drive but you will need to be enthusiastic and physically fit.

The driver’s mate volunteers on the retail vans, to assist the driver in carrying out collections and delivery efficiently and effectively.

Jamie Parks, Manager of the Hospice Donation Centres said: “Whether you are looking to volunteer for one day or multiple days, we would be delighted to hear from you.

“We are particularly looking for help on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, and as the deliveries are made to our Pwllheli shop on a Tuesday, we would ideally like a volunteer who could commit a whole day. All the other days can be half or full day shifts”
