Local palliative care charity St David’s Hospice located on Abbey Road in Llandudno is reopening their indoor Café from next Monday.

The Hospice café, a popular eatery for many, closed its doors to the public due to the pandemic in March 2020.

Diversifying their services’, the Café launched a takeout service in a bid to raise much needed funds for the charity.

The takeout service has been in full swing since last June 2020, however the Hospice are very excited to open their doors once again welcoming customers new and old back to enjoy their delicious homemade food from Monday 20th September.

The Café is run by the St David’s Hospice’s catering team and supported by dedicated team of volunteers. Open Monday to Friday 10am – 4pm, seats will be allocated on a first come first serve basis. Booking in advance will not be available.

By supporting Café Dewi, not only are you enjoying delicious food, you are also helping cover the cost of providing free meals to the patients in the Inpatient Unit at Llandudno as all proceeds from the café are reinvested within the catering department.

Gary Anderson, St David’s Hospice Catering Manager expressed his excitement about opening the café

“We are really looking forward to being able to open the café again after being closed for such a long time. Many of our supporters have contacted us asking when it is going to open again, and we are delighted we can now say yes we’re open! We look forward to welcoming you all back”
