Good or bad taste? All Christmas jumpers make a difference!

December 12, 2019 - 1292 views

With Christmas fast approaching it means it’s time for mince pies, Christmas carols, tinsel, Santa Claus and of course Christmas jumpers!

In the last few remaining days before Christmas, St David’s Hospice would love to see you in your best (or worst) Christmas jumper.

Anyone can take part including workplaces, community groups and schools. You can choose the day in December that suits you.

Conwy Area Fundraiser, James Wilde said:“A ‘Jolly Jumpers’ Day is the perfect way to get into the festive spirit. We love seeing photographs of everyone getting into the festive spirit for St David’s.”

“Once you’ve decided which date in December you’d like to hold your Jolly Jumper Day, contact the Hospice Fundraising Department who will send you a Christmas Fundraising Pack which includes posters to help you publicise your Jolly Jumpers day.

"Also extra ways to add to your fundraising including a delicious recipe for mince pies should you wished to hold a Christmas bake sale.

If everyone taking part donates a minimum of £2, it would make a huge difference to end-of-life care in North West Wales”

As Bayside mentioned a few weeks back, rugby side RGC has already signed up to and will be getting involved in the Jolly Jumpers fundraising day.

As part of their last home game of the year this Saturday (December 14th), the team are encouraging fans attending the game to wear their Christmas jumpers in return for a suggested donation of £2 to the Hospice.
