Have a January declutter and help St. David's Hospice

January 06, 2020 - 1032 views

Another Christmas has been and gone, but behind it is often a trail of clutter: unwanted Christmas presents and cupboards bursting to the brim. With the enthusiasm for a New Year, it is a great time to declutter your home.

And what better way to do it than by donating to the St. David's Hospice donation centre and shop at the reycling and waste centre in Mochdre.

Jamie Parks, Warehouse Manager, said:“As many people intend to start the New Year with a clear head, it may be a good idea to start with a clean and organised house too – start as you mean to go on.

“The St David’s Hospice shops rely entirely on the generous donation of items from our supporters, which fill the shelves of our 26 charity shops across Conwy, Gwynedd and Anglesey. We would gratefully welcome your unwanted items.”

“For every bag of goods donated to St David’s Hospice, an average of £20 will be raised for the local charity, which can be increased by gift aiding the donation.”

Please ensure all items are in good condition, clean and complete, and (where appropriate) that they work correctly.

They can be dropped off at the St David’s Hospice Donation Centres on Quinton Hazel Enterprise Park, Mochdre (01492 547836) or Builder Street, Llandudno (01492 878935).
