This November, St. David's Hospice are to hold two very special ‘In Memory’ events each bringing together hundreds of people to remember and celebrate the lives of those who have received the support of St David’s Hospice.
A spokesperson for the hospice said: "When you feel ready to, we’d love for you to gather together friends and family and join us at these very special events."
Moonlight Memories Walk Saturday 12th November (6 pm) – Llandudno
The evening promises to be a magical family event which follows a four-mile circular walk from Craig Y Don to Llandudno (and back). This is an easy circular walk and every step you take will be special because you’ll be remembering the people you love.
At the halfway point, there will be a festive stop-off at St David’s Hospice, Llandudno where walkers can immerse themselves in the spirit of Christmas with carol singing, marshmallow toasting and a chance to enjoy a warming refreshment.
Admission is £16 for adults, £12 for under 16s and £45 for a family (2 adults & 2 children) which includes a Limited Edition bobble hat and also a Christmas bauble to place on their tree.
Tree of Lights Sunday 27 November (4:30 pm) Rhos on Sea
Remember your loved ones this Christmas time by dedicating a light on the St. David's Hospice Tree of Lights.
We understand the joys that Christmas can bring, as well as the challenges that families face at this time of year as we naturally reflect and think of those who are no longer with us.
For a small donation to St David’s Hospice, you are invited to dedicate a light on the Hospice’s Tree of Lights, to remember a loved one and support the work of the Hospice at the same time.
The Tree of Lights ‘switching-on’ ceremony, kindly organised by the Rhos on Sea Rotary Club, will take place on the Cayley Promenade, Rhos on Sea on the 27th, when the lights will be lit for the first time this year. Each light will shine brightly throughout December.
