Local success story Zip World import thrills to Liverpool

Local business and tourism success story Zip World have just announced that they are soon to be conquering Liverpool with their brand of adrenaline fuelled fun and adventure.

The Llanrwst based company is celebrating after announcing that Liverpool City Council have given the green light to the company to expand its operation. This news follows on from work to open up a South Wales location in Rhigos, Rhondda Cynon Taf.

The plans will enable the company to open Zip World Liverpool with a planned launch in summer 2021. The Virtual Planning Committee were said to be impressed by the plans.

The project will see the company build a permanent zip wire between the city’s two iconic landmarks St. John's Beacon and the Liverpool Central Library. 

Zip World is a great North Wales success story and is the brainchild of Trefriw based Sean Taylor who has developed the company to the point that it is now one of Wales' top attractions contributing much to local employment and the good fortune of local tourism.

Over the last five years, the Zip World brand has contributed £251 million to the North Wales economy, according a 2018 report from North Wales Tourism.
