North Wales Fire have warned on the dangers of using fake mobile phone chargers.
A spokesperson explained: "We attended an incident on Thursday night where a caravan was severely damaged after a fire caused by a faulty mobile phone charger. Luckily there was no one in the caravan at the time.
"Always use the charger that came with your phone, tablet, e-cigarette or mobile device. If you need to buy a replacement, always choose a branded, genuine product from a supplier you can trust – preferably with a CE kite mark.
"There are lots of fakes out there, and it can be difficult to spot the difference but it could mean the difference between life and death.
"It’s also important to switch off chargers when not in use and avoid charging devices overnight."
