Welsh Conservative leader and Clwyd West MS, Darren Millar, has criticised Labour First Minister Eluned Morgan for expressing concerns about Sir Keir Starmer’s immigration plans on BBC’s Political Thinking programme.
Mr. Millar is an advocate for tough action on immigration.
He believes that the First Minister should "prioritise the concerns of Welsh people over political posturing".
The Clwyd West MS added: “Instead of trying to distance herself from Keir Starmer by telling him his immigration plans are damaging to Wales, she should be standing up for people here in Wales by telling the Prime Minister to take tougher action to get immigration down by introducing a cap on numbers, and deporting all foreign criminals, including those who arrive here illegally.
“Fabricating rows between Labour in Wales and Labour in Westminster due to recent polls isn't fooling anyone.”
