It is just over six months since the launch of the Conwy Tourism Ambassador scheme and over that time 320 people have qualified in local businesses.
Conwy Council have recently added three new modules to this free online course making it an ideal way for businesses to up skill their staff and help improve customer service and the visitor experience.
The online course will give you and your team the opportunity to learn about Conwy County's tourism offer through a series of modules that include food and drink, leisure, history, heritage, walking, cycling, outdoor and indoor adventure, the arts, Welsh language and culture, towns and villages and coastal Conwy.
As your staff progress through the course, they will receive bronze, silver and gold awards. Businesses with gold level ambassadors a Conwy Tourism Ambassador badge and window sticker. These can be displayed in business premises, or simply added to personal portfolios.
