Immediate response grants now helping in Colwyn Bay

March 30, 2020 - 1030 views

In response to Coronavirus and its impact on volunteering and the work of charitable and non-profit organisations along the North Wales coast and in rural parts of Conwy and Denbighshire, CVSC in Colwyn Bay have made immediate response grants available.

CVSC (Community and Voluntary Support Conwy) are aware of the pressure that is being put on the Third Sector due to the pandemic.

They appreciate that many organisations are on the frontline of this and are looking after the most vulnerable members of society.

Thanks to the response of Innogy Renewables, the organisation behind the Gwynt-y-Mor and Clocaenog Forest Community Funds an immediate response fund has been set up.

Grants are now available in the areas of benefit of £100-£5000 to help volunteering at this difficult time and also provide financial help to promote projects that can provide a lifeline to communities, in particular vulnerable people and the elderly who may have difficulty coping with isolation and maintaining their day-to-day lives.
