As Easter arrives once again, this year feels distinctly different as many families are seperated from their loved ones due to the virus.
Over the next few days, Bayside has a series of special programmes to mark Good Friday, Easter Sunday and Monday as friends stay apart and churches keep their doors closed.
At 3 o'clock on Friday afternoon Jeff Pearson looks forward to bringing you Reflections on Good Friday, an hour of music and thought to mark a special day.
Jeff explained; "On the day when Christians remember when God sent His only Son to die on the cross as a sacrifice for their sins, I will be once again welcoming everyone along to the radio to join together in another one of our virtual gatherings."
The programme will also be available on demand from 3pm via the Podcast/Listen Again section of the Bayside Radio website.
On Sunday, two Easter themed church services are available on Bayside Radio. The very popular Sunday Service brings you a special programme from 10am with Jeff Pearson. Then Old Colwyn's Canon Quentin Bellamy presents Evensong for Easter Day at 5pm. Both programmes are available to listen to on demand.
On Monday afternoon at 3 o'clock Bayside presents a 1940s Special for residents at care and rest homes across the area in conjunction with Pete Williams. That's followed at 4pm with two hours of vintage rock 'n' roll.
With residents at homes unable to see relatives and family, Pete and Phil Williams have planned a memorable afternoon for the whole community to enjoy.
Don't forget you can hear anything you've missed on the podcast section at www.baysideradio.co.uk. We wish everyone a Happy Easter.
